Biography

Cody's older brother has cystic fibrosis. We knew when we were having him there was a 1 in 4 chance he would also have cystic fibrosis but we didn't get tests as we knew no matter what we wanted our beautiful blessing. He was tested at birth and confirmed to have CF at 2 weeks old.

It has been difficult. It's a life limiting, potentially life shortening condition. Two people with CF should never be around each other due to cross contamination, so having siblings with the condition brings troubles of its own. There's lots of daily treatments to try to prevent the boys becoming unwell and hospital admissions also when needed. It can be difficult and they go through more than they should have to but they are beautiful boys who are brave, funny and have hearts of gold along with their biggest brother who does not have cf but deals with it as we all do as a family.

His older brother with CF has a quilt which he holds dear, I'm so happy Cody will have one too and thank everyone for all their input and hard work .
