Biography

Elis was born in 2009 and had a normal start. We noticed Elis tiptoe walking and then finally Elis had a diagnosis of Asd when he was 2.5 yrs old.

Elis attended a special school from age 3 where he thrived and then progressed to another special school where he is today. Elis loves school and is popular. He is now 15 and has gone through some frustrations due to his non-verbal communication, this is better now as he can sign and use PECS to some degree. Elis didn't sleep well and life was hard but he has got better as the years have gone by. He loves nothing more than his bedroom and his bed! He has 9 pillows!

His favourite things are Disney holidays and surfing every week. When he is in the water he is at his best! He stims and hand flaps and is a joy to watch! Elis loves food, chicken and waffles are his favourite and McD. He loves mini rolls and mars bars!

Elis has always loved travelling in the car. He is a happy soul who is very loving and lives with his mam and dad and middle sister Nia who is 21. He has an older sister Lauren who is now married. Elis is a joy!!
