Biography

Ollie was born 10 weeks early via emergency c section. He spent 13 weeks in NICU. After 3 days of being out of hospital we were rushed back in for an emergency op.

Until the age of 4 Ollie would be constantly in and out of hospital / ambulances on a weekly basis due to his lungs. Since then Ollie suffers on a daily basis with things we may find easy such as large crowds, loud noises or even trying to sit still. Ollie's sensory chew is one of the worst things he suffers with. He chews on something to calm himself down from all of his anxieties. On one particular occasion, Ollie went to school with his chew toy and all of his teeth. When I came to pick him up, 4 of his teeth were missing. Even the teachers didn’t realise but he had had such a stressful day he bit down so hard he ripped all 4 teeth out. To most people he may come across as a naughty boy who doesn’t sit still, can’t concentrate or communicate the right way but really he has a heart of gold.
