Biography

Louie was born a healthy boy. At 4years old he started to have an ongoing cough, crying with aches & pains in his legs & back, some weight loss, a rash on his body, and we knew something was not right. After a 3rd visit to the GP he was sent to Alder Hey Hospital with suspected sepsis. After having a blood test they told us he had leukaemia, his journey then began.

Louie is now 2yrs into a 3.5yr treatment plan including chemotherapy, lumbar punctures, bone marrow aspirations. He has had seizures due to the medication. He missed 10months of school. Louie has been so strong throughout & is doing well with all that he has been through. We are now counting the days till he can ring the bell
