Biography

We found at my 20 week scan about Allan's heart condition and further investigation during my pregnancy discovered his PCD so we were fortunate to have a plan in place for when he was born.

At 2 weeks old Allan was discharged from hospital and at 4 weeks old was rushed back in by ambulance and was oxygen reliant until he had his first open heart surgery at 6 weeks old which lead to 3 post op cardiac arrests and him being on life support.

At 6 months old Allan underwent his 2nd open heart surgery.

And we are now awaiting his next lot of surgeries in 2024. He is due his cardiac catheter around March/April and then open heart surgery to have his Fontan around the summer.
